but it's very silent.

| Mounting |
o This is a special mounting
situation where you have to turn the Orb
a little bit to fit the fan onto the socket.
The problem is if you tilt the fan a little bit while turning
the fan it's possible
to destroy the DIE of your CPU.
Therefore this HSF is normally just for FCPGA CPU. |

--- The cooling result were 49°C and 55° C at 1,9 Volt core voltage, very bad
in comparison to most other coolers. |
| General impression |
+ I think this fan is only a
good choice for a maximum (non overclocked) CPU speed of 900 MHz.
Higher CPU rates or higher CPU voltages need very good case
cooling if
you plan to use the Golden Orb.
The cheap price and good design can't compensate for the cooling
results.
And because of the fixed metal clip (and bad cooling) it's
impossible to use it
with a Peltier Element. |
