For less than 20 Euro you get pure cooling with the quality you expect from Arctic, including a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty. For Intel systems, Arctic offers the Freezer 8i and for continuous operation there is a ball-bearing fan in the CO version.
It should be clear that you don’t get maxi cooling for the mini price. The cooling performance of the Freezer 8A should easily be sufficient for mid-range processors that do not break any boost records and whose cooling is not hampered by additional cache.
The build quality is impeccable and the noise generated by the powerful 100 mm fan is also kept within limits. In addition, installation is simple and flexible at the same time, making the Freezer 8A an all-round coherent overall package that leaves little to be desired for the low price.
