As usual, assembly is quite simple; the only slight challenge is attaching the base without additional tools. This is because the included screwdriver makes it difficult to tighten the screws, whose threads are coated with a bit of blue threadlocker. It’s best to have a decent screwdriver on hand for this.
Ergonomic Adjustments …
In terms of ergonomics, the AOC Agon AG326UZD2 isn’t exactly top-of-the-line, but the adjustment options are perfectly adequate and can be expanded, if necessary, using the included VESA mount with an optional monitor arm. For most users, however, the ergonomic adjustments should be more than sufficient.
Connection …
We first connected the monitor using the included DisplayPort cable. The monitor was detected without any issues. No additional drivers needed to be installed.
Lighting …
If you place the monitor close to a wall, the lighting creates a bit of ambiance around it. It’s actually a shame that most users won’t see this beautiful lighting during the day when the monitor is in use.
Operation …
You can access and navigate the OSD using the multifunction button on the back. In addition to the extensive game settings …

Of course, an OLED display must include various protective features, …
… which allow the monitor to prevent image retention.
And the volume control for the built-in speakers hasn’t been overlooked either.
It could have used a few more settings here, but all the essentials are there. The main menu is also quite impressive and displays all of the aforementioned settings using icons.
Sound …
Let’s move right on to the sound. Just like with the AOC monitor we tested earlier, the speakers here also impressed us-after all, they’re the same models. So if you don’t have any speakers, you can use the built-in ones for now.

Gaming …
Let’s start off slowly. We’ve all been there, right? You find yourself stranded on an alien planet and have to use automated manufacturing to produce everything you need to survive there. We’re talking about Factorio, including the Space Age DLC. The game takes full advantage of both the high resolution and the brilliant colors of the AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2.
Now let’s move on to a top-tier game that really pushes both the graphics card and the monitor to their limits.
Um… Roger… that’s not the right review. Now get lost. Ahem… We’re talking, of course, about Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Let’s just let the HDR visuals speak for themselves here. Unfortunately, it’s always hard to capture that with a camera.
Another great title that can be very graphically demanding is Sons of the Forest. Here, too, the landscape takes on incredible depth thanks to the stunning color rendering and HDR, making it look truly alive.
Let’s now turn to a section of the report that should be of interest to avid mobile device users.
Laptop feat Linux …
The monitor also performs well on Linux. Detection went smoothly, and all settings were immediately accepted by CachyOS. Review of the monitor on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 13.
What interested us much more, however, was the advertised 60-watt charging power that the USB-C port is supposed to deliver in addition to the video signal. Here, too, the AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 impresses and delivers!
