The Intel LGA 1700 DDR5 ATX motherboard can excellently overclock current Intel LGA1700 processors of the 12th, 13th and 14th generation and has a fantastic basic configuration with a fast PCIe Gen5 slot as well as ASRock Blazing 128Gb/s M.2 slot for PCIe Gen5 x4 SSDs and 2.5 Gigabit LAN on the I/O panel. Addressable ARGB lighting has also been considered, which can be connected extensively and is even already integrated under the M.2 cooler.
As basic equipment, the Z790 Riptide WiFi motherboard offers a total of three PCI Express slots, eight SATA3 ports, four fast Hyper M.2 64Gb/s slots and one Blazing M.2 128Gb/s slot, one M.2 2230 slot with pre-installed WIFI/BT module, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, up to seven possible USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, an additional USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C front panel connector, up to six possible USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, analog sound output via three jacks, four DDR5 slots, ASRock A-Tuning software also for controlling the fans in Windows, ASRock Polychrome Sync RGB for addressable RGB LED lighting and much more.
The ASRock Z790 Riptide WiFi motherboard is a great choice with extensive features thanks to the Intel Z790 chipset and has a powerful PLC power supply for overclocking. In addition, the stylish ASRock Z790 Riptide WiFi motherboard has a great basic equipment and convinces with an enormous number of USB ports up to the fast 2.5 Gigabit LAN port and lots of fast M.2 slots. Only the USB-C connections on the rear could be more versatile and perhaps one or two people will miss the optical S/PDIF output, although many users now use sound solutions via USB anyway.
