Introduction:

A so called product ID description or OPN (Ordering Part Number) is on each AMD Athlon II, Phenom and Phenom II CPU,
but this product ID is not really easy to understand without studying several datasheets.
So it's difficult to know the excact frequency or voltage (Vcore), etc. of the AMD Athlon2, Phenom or Phenom2 processor.
This is the reason, why I've written this interactive script to decode the AMD processor numbers,
which is also available for AMD Athlon 64 CPUs, AMD Socket A processors and for Intel processors.

 

Handling:

The interactive AMD Phenom product ID guide is really easy to handle:
Simply select the code line of your Phenom, Phenom II or Athlon II CPU over the drop-down fields or type it directly into the OPN field.
Then you will see the technical data and descriptions in the fields below inside of the virtual CPU.

 

Enhanced functions for Webmaster, Onlineshop Hoster, etc.:

The latest development since version 1.2 offers in addition to the manual CPU selection also a direct control over the URL !
That is particularly very useful for online dealers and distributors, but also for everyone who would like to
post a link to the CPU (for example in communities or in other webpages).

Simply select the complete description of the AMD CPU over the select fields and then copy the appearing link to the clipboard,
or add the CPU data directly with ?cpu=XYZ to the script URL.
It's allowed to use this link in onlineshops, forums, web pages, etc. (let it open in a new window with target=_blank).
