Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB Review

Boosted water cooling from Arctic! Arctic water coolers have always been among the most powerful complete water coolers for CPUs. With their efficient fans, they are always at the very top despite their low noise level, but the cooler throne is contested by competitors with significantly more powerful fans that don’t care about noise. With the new Liquid Freezer III Pro, Arctic relies on the proven technology of the Liquid Freezer III and now equips the radiator with new high-performance fans that reach up to 3000 rpm in order to climb the water cooler throne. Our following review reveals if we need earmuffs and whether the more powerful fans really lead to better cooling performance.

The delivery of the Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB …

For the Liquid Freezer III Pro, Arctic has revised the packaging design and added striking mint green details so that the difference to the normal Liquid Freezer III is immediately noticeable.

On the back you will again find all the important technical data and a link to the support page to take a photo with your smartphone.

The link to the installation instructions can be found on the top of the packaging this time.

When you look inside the packaging, you will find everything safely stowed away. However, the use of plastic could be reduced for the sake of the environment.

Scope of delivery …

At first glance, the new Liquid Freezer III Pro does not differ significantly from the normal model.

The Liquid Freezer III Pro comes with everything you need to install the cooler on current AMD or Intel desktop systems. A small tube of the good Arctic MX-6 thermal paste is also included, which is sufficient for approx. 2-3 installations. There are also two different connection cables to either control the fans and the pump synchronously via a PWM connection or to control the fans and the pump separately.

For Intel systems, a newly designed contact frame is also included, which moves the cooler closer to the hotspot of the current Intel Core Ultra CPU generation compared to the model of the normal Liquid Freezer III.
