One point that we like less is the fact that Crucial writes in small print on the product page on the Internet that the type of NAND memory can be changed in subsequent production cycles. Currently, TLC NAND is installed, which scores with good performance and service life, but it could later be changed to inexpensive QLC NAND, which offers significantly less performance and service life than TLC NAND. Unfortunately, we have seen in the past that Crucial is actually taking this step with the popular BX500 series, where they switched from TLC NAND to the inferior QLC NAND over time, which resulted in a significant reduction in performance.
