Today, we are testing a very special motherboard. The new X870E Taichi OC Formula AM5 motherboard from ASRock offers the very best features and has also been tuned for maximum overclocking. For the best signal quality, the motherboard has only 2 DIMM slots, but offers space for up to six M.2 SSDs and has two USB4 ports and Wi-Fi 7. In addition, the X870E Taichi OCF has been optimized for operation on a bench table, which is why it has a number of buttons and functions that are not usually found on motherboards. The delivery of the X870E Taichi OCF …
The X870E Taichi OCF comes in a box whose size and design correspond to standard ATX format motherboards. Only the surface of the packaging has been enhanced with a velvety finish. The front of the box gives no indication that this is a very special motherboard.
The back highlights the X870E Taichi’s impressive features and provides a brief overview of its OC capabilities. When we turn it over, we also notice its considerable weight.
The motherboard is wrapped in antistatic film and well protected in cardboard packaging. On the right is an accessory box containing the Wi-Fi antennas and a RAM fan.
The remaining accessories are located in another compartment beneath the motherboard.

In addition to the X870E Taichi OCF motherboard, you also get a combo antenna for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 7, as well as a 60mm fan for cooling the RAM.
