Power NP60D Review with online sound

In this review we have tested the Power NP60D Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.

Name Bitspower
NP60D
Size over all L/B/H +++ 60/67/52 mm The heatsink size isn’t bigger than the Sockel.
Cooling output +++ 29 CFM (~5500 rpm)
Noise level – 41 dB (A) The fan isn’t quiet, but anyway there’s a big difference between this fan and a FOP 38. Listen to the sound:
Mounting +++ The cooler designer decided to prefer a way to mount and unmount the bracket without any tool. Therefore they build a bigger metal clip. The clip is not much arrested but still very easy to mount and unmount the heatsink.
Cooling results +++ I’m surprised of the great cooling result. Only 40° C at 1,75 V and 43°C at 1,90 Vcore with my overclocked Duron 700@1066.
General impression

+++ The 170 gramm lightweight Power NP60D aluminium heatsink fan combination isn’t known very much but with this results it should be no problem to find a distributor in the european market. The impeccable production with a bottom surface like a mirror and the powerful but also little noisy fan are some reasons for this cool result. Thanks for this testsample !

This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element !
