In this review we have tested the Taisol CGK 742092 Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.
|Size over all L/B/H||+ 80/70/75 mm The heatsink size is bigger than the Sockel – measure the space around your socket.|
|Cooling output||+ 21 CFM (~4800 rpm)|
|Noise level||+++ 29 dB (A) Very quiet and pleasant sound. Listen to the sound:|
|Mounting||+++ The bracket have a giant advantage, because it uses all three plastic noses of the socket.So you are also able to use this fan on a Socket where already broken the middle pin by another fan !It’s very easy to fit the heatsink with a screwdriver.|
|Cooling results||+++ The cooling result isn’t bad with 42°C at 1,75 V and 45°C at 1,90 Volt.|
|General impression||+++ Soft noise and good cooling results, that’s what we need and that’s what we get with this Taisol fan. The power cable is with 15 cm a little bit short but that should be enough for most available mainboards. This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element ! Pictures …|
