The ASRock X299 Taichi Intel LGA 2066 DDR4 motherboard offers a fantastic basic equipment, very extensive OC settings for extremely high OC results and lighting effects to build a high-end Intel Core i9 PC.

As basic equipment, the X299 Taichi mainboard has a total of five PCI Express slots, ten SATA3 ports, three fast Ultra M.2 32Gb/s slots, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A, up to eight possible USB 3.1 Gen1 ports (formerly USB 3.0), up to six possible USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, 7.1 Purity 4 sound with content protection, analog sound output over three jacks, digital sound output via optical S/PDIF, eight DDR4 slots, ASRock A-Tuning software for easy Core i9 overclocking and controlling the fans in Windows, ASRock RGB LED lighting, ASRock BIOS Flashback function to update BIOS without CPU and much more.

All in all, the ASRock X299 Taichi motherboard is the matching counterpart to ASRock X399 Taichi AMD Ryzen Threadripper Mainboard and was even able to outperform the Threadripper OC result by 1 GHz. All in all, this is definitely a very recommendable motherboard for the construction of a current high-end Intel LGA 2066 PC system!
