With the OXS Storm G2 Gaming Headset, OSX has undoubtedly developed an alternative to better-known brands that can hold its own in comparison.
While the lighting is a matter of taste and reduces battery life, the device’s adjustment options with EQ modes, controls, and transmission types are worth seeing. The bag is a nice addition to the package.
The narrow ear pads are somewhat inconvenient for users with larger ears. The internal microphone also picks up voices too quietly, but the clip-on microphone works well.
On the plus side, the headphones have an attractive and by no means boring appearance and deliver an extremely controlled bass experience. The virtual 7.1 surround sound may not work miracles, but it does bring out the volume in voices that would otherwise sound somewhat muffled.
Overall, the headset offers a varied listening experience thanks to its many modes and transmission technologies.
