The Cooler Master V700 is a fully modular power supply and enables an optimal adjustment of all internal PC cables. The 80PLUS Gold power supply and the connecting cables are supplied each in a bag to have all necessary cables ready to hand for the next PC upgrade. The first impression of the new 700 watt power supply is already excellent. In the following review, we look at the modular Cooler Master V700 high-end PSU and compare the results with some power supplies from a wide variety of price range.

As common in high-quality Cooler Master power supplies in the upperclass, the V700 is delivered in a nice glossy box. In this cardboard box comes the 700 Watt Cooler Master 80PLUS Gold power supply with its accessories.

Here is a first look at the hinged cardboard box of the high-quality power supply, where we see the bag of the power supply, the bag of the cables and the power cord after removing the foam cover.
On the following picture one can see the small, black 170x150x85mm power supply with its accessories. In the scope of delivery are a lot of cables in one bag, four screws for the PSU, a folding sheet which contains a pictured building instruction, power supply pin allocations, warning references, warranty (5 years) and the disposal references. The bags are very useful, since one can store unnecessary cables very well:
The power supply is fully modular and has no attached cables, so one can attach each cable individual. Here you can see a picture of all included power supply cables:

The cables are very flat and thus can be installed properly in most chassis. All plugs can be inserted well and not too easily detach from the respective drive.
