Not badly for a vacuum cleaner, but for an fan already quite loud. ;-)

Mounting +++ The contact pressure of the bracket is quite strong, but the retainer device is very good and the notch for the screwdriver gives no reason to the criticism.
In the opposite, it's whole almost not possibly to slip,
Thus there is almost the best valuation for the assembly and disassembly.
Cooling results ++++ A really good cooling result!
The temperatures of 38°C at 1,75 Volt CPU-Voltage and only 42°C at 1,9 Volt Vcore
with 1066 MHz is almost the point of the feasible.

General impression

+++ The 470 gram heavy cooler is not even something for a LAN- party computer,
which one would like to often transport, but the cooling performance is simply top
for an overclocked CPU! 

The Silver Mountain consists of a silvered full copper core, which was polished on the lower
surface glossy, in order to achieve a better heat transfer.
For the temperature heat sink provides a strong fan.
Unfortunately it is quite loud, needs about 3.84 Watts and is provided with a lattice. 
Due to the high power input the fan should not be connected to the Mainboard,
but better should be attached directly to power supply with a 4- pole adapter.
Altogether seen a very cleanly manufactured cooler for high requirements for overclocking.

This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element !
