BIOS …
Thanks to BIOS Flashback, we were able to update the BIOS to version 3.5—the latest version at the time of testing—even before the first boot. Both the CPU and the 2x 32GB DDR5 modules were recognized immediately without any issues. In addition, the memory was automatically set to the maximum allowed speed of 5200MT/s for Ryzen 7000 processors without any further action on our part. Higher clock speeds fall into the overclocking range and must be tested by the user to ensure stability.

With the N7 B850, users have access to all the overclocking options provided by AMD.

Of course, this also includes a comprehensive configuration menu for adjusting all parameters related to the RAM. RAM overclocking is made easier thanks to support for EXPO and XMP profiles.

Precision Boost Overdrive allows you to increase the processor speed while simultaneously reducing power consumption through voltage reduction.

A complete list of all BIOS features would go beyond the scope of this article and would surely bore many readers. Upon reviewing the BIOS, we did not find any missing features. All features are explained clearly and comprehensively, as is typical of other major motherboard manufacturers, although the similarity to a certain motherboard manufacturer is striking.
