Cooler Master NR200P V2 Review

Layout, design and features – exterior …

The Cooler Master NR200P V2 case is a smart ITX tower with some nice details. The case is kept rather simple and classic. The workmanship and materials are of a very high quality overall. The highlight of this case is that you have the choice between a mesh side panel …

… and a glass panel. Both are included in the scope of delivery. Apart from the lid, the housing is made of very thick and sturdy sheet steel, which also gives the housing its extreme value.

The front is plain black, with only the Cooler Master logo highlighted.

There is a mesh insert in the top section that also functions as a dust filter. The front panel connection is also located in the housing cover.

The front panel has 2x USB 3.0 Type-A plugs and a USB 3.2 Type-C plug. There is also a 4-pin audio socket for analog headphones. The power button is illuminated and is also located on the front panel.

The left-hand side panel consists of the enclosed glass pane or, as shown here, perforated sheet steel with a dust filter on the inside. All side panels and the lid can be fitted without tools.

The right-hand side panel has the same mesh design. A magnetic dust cover has also been attached here to prevent too much dust from entering the inside of the housing.

There is an additional filter under the base of the housing that reliably protects the housing from dust.

This is also magnetically attached and can be easily removed for cleaning.

On the back, you can see the typical ventilation grilles, PCI slot bezels and the cut-out for the slot bracket. It is immediately apparent that a graphics card can only be installed horizontally. As an IEC socket is integrated here, the power supply unit is routed into the interior above it. Despite the small ITX design, this creates space for somewhat larger power supply units.
