Mobvoi TicWatch C2 Review and TicWatch E2 Review

Layout, design and features …

Here is a 360 degree view of the Mobvoi TicWatch E2 Smartwatch.

The Mobvoi E2 Smartwatch is by no means a dainty watch, yet it does not seem too bulky. It looks sporty chic and the workmanship makes a very good impression.

On the bottom we find the charging contact and the pulse sensor.

The charger is magnetic and has a bulge for the pulse sensor. The advantages and disadvantages of contacts compared to inductive charging options can be disputed, as possible contact contamination is countered by longer charging times due to lower efficiency. In our opinion, however, what should not be missing is the power supply unit. Although almost all households now have a USB charger or 5V/1A power supply with USB type A socket or at least a PC or TV with USB sockets, via which the charger can be connected, the manufacturer should nevertheless sell the buyer a complete package with a high-quality power supply. In addition, power supply units are often left in the hotel or disappear in an inexplicable way. We also find the permanently mounted cable on the charging station disadvantageous and would wish for a charging cradle with Micro USB or USB-C socket.

Overall, the Mobvoi C2 Smartwatch is smaller than the E2 and so rather something for smaller wrists. Due to the stainless steel case, it also comes very noble.

On the bottom we find again the charging contact and the pulse sensor.

The charger is the same except for the smaller diameter as the E2 TicWatch. Anyone who already owns another TicWatch or buys these two smartwatches in a double pack, unfortunately, has no universal charging cradle, but must use their own charging station for each clock.
