Result and general impression …
In line with the other Elite devices, NZXT’s Capsule Elite Microphone impresses with a neat use of materials and a clear visual line.
While the RGB lighting on the back is more of a gimmick for potential stream viewers, the color coding on the front makes perfect sense in the context of control adjustment.
The technology makes it possible to reproduce voices practically detached from background noise. However, the voice does not stand out exceptionally, at least when compared to solid headsets.
The headphone connection option is practical, provided a small 3.5 mm jack plug or at least a corresponding adapter is available. There are also setting options via the software equalizer, although this requires prior knowledge.
Overall, it may be more practical for the average gamer to simply buy a good headset as a single device instead of a microphone plus headphones. However, thanks to its usability on the swivel arm and customizable lighting, the Capsule Elite offers flexible application options in the area of streaming and finds its point of contrast here.
Thanks to the clean transmission of the voice, the model is free of technical defects and is definitely worth considering.
