NZXT has incorporated a total of 16 addressable RGB LEDs into the corners of the F120X. They can be controlled either via a 3-pin A-RGB connector or the integrated NZXT RGB connector, which makes perfect sense for a system with multiple NZXT components, as the NZXT CAM software offers many options for customizing the RGB lighting, as we have already demonstrated in the test of the F360 Core fan.

The LEDs draw a maximum of 0.26A, which isn’t particularly much, and you can definitely tell. A little more power would enhance the visual spectacle, because compared to other RGB fans, the F120X falls a bit short in terms of brightness and color intensity. Still, it’s fun to watch the colorful display, and the F120X is by no means lacking in brightness.
