The NZXT F120X A-RGB fan clearly ranks among the top tier of PC fans in terms of performance! In terms of performance, hardly any other fan comes close to the F120X.
On top of that, the F120X features an extremely quiet rotor that generates hardly any vibrations and ensures pleasant silence even in critical cases, as we were able to impressively demonstrate with our vibration measurement.
Thanks to its 30-millimeter thickness, it delivers high airflow even at low RPM and noise levels, outperforming most other fans in terms of maximum airflow.
This makes the F120X suitable for virtually any application.
The materials used and the build quality are of the highest standard and perfectly match the premium overall impression of the F120X.
Of course, all these superlatives come at a price. The F120X isn’t available just anywhere, and if you manage to get your hands on one, it’ll set you back around 35 euros each. That means it’s not exactly a bargain, but in return, you get top-notch performance and quality.
The NZXT F120X does have a few shortcomings when it comes to features. The lack of connection ports to make it easier to cascade the F120X and the absence of a 0-RPM mode leave room for improvement on the path to becoming the ultimate PC fan. In terms of pure performance, however, the F120X would have earned that title.
There’s no shortage of variants either. The NZXT F120X is available in black or white and even as a multi-fan unit in a frame design, and if you need something even bigger, go for the NZXT F140X.
With its outstanding performance in practical testing, the NZXT F120X PC fan secures our OCinside.de OC Dream Award despite its higher price.
