The design of the NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ is particularly impressive due to the beveled front, which is typical for NZXT and consists of a very fine mesh structure. So fine that a filter can be dispensed with here and a well-directed airflow can be created on the inside. It is rounded off by the front panel without a side bar, which makes the view of the hardware even more impressive. Here you can also see the fans pre-installed in the RGB+ version.
Let’s take a look at the front panel integrated at the bottom of the front, where the power button is located, which is equipped with a white illuminated border. Unfortunately, no SSD/HDD activities are displayed here. To the left are 2x USB 3.2 Type-A and a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port as well as a 4-pin headset port. Here it also becomes clear that the tower is a real showcase that is best placed on the desk.
Next to the front panel, there is an NZXT logo on the beveled side panel.
The left side panel is made of tempered glass and provides a breathtaking view of the inner workings. Here you can see another special feature of the case. This is because the motherboard tray is also designed for motherboards that have their connection on the rear – so-called rear connecting or reverse connector motherboards.
There is also a very fine mesh structure on the right-hand side panel, where there is no need for a filter. The power supply unit is positioned behind this, where it draws its air without any problems.
A beautiful back can also be delightful – here you can clearly see how big the case really is. And this despite the fact that it doesn’t appear too bulky due to the large amount of glass in the front. The openings for the slot bracket and the power supply seem rather small. A lot of thought has gone into the small metal loops, which can be used to secure all the cables behind the case with cable ties.
The lid is of course also fitted with mesh so that the fans or the AIO in the lid can blow out their air. You can clearly see how finely structured the mesh is, as it allows an almost unobstructed view of the inside of the housing.
The underside has also been fitted with a fine removable filter, …
… which can be pulled out very easily for cleaning.
