Raspberry Pi 3 Review

Conclusion and general impression …

It’s only been a few weeks since Intel and AMD admitted to their faux pas about processor security. A 100% solution is not yet in sight. Its immunity to Spectre and Meltdown makes the already interesting Raspberry Pi 3 even more interesting.

Exchangeable SD cards, 1 GB RAM, a quad-core CPU with 1.2 GHz and all this with a power consumption under full load of just 5 watts!

In addition, an integrated WLAN module, as well as Bluetooth and various GPIO ports for controlling all possible sensors and devices. At this point we need to say almost nothing about the price. Who is content with the standard configuration, gets a complete computer for nearly 50 Euro, which must be completed only by the anyway already existing monitor/television as well as a mouse and keyboard. Actually there is no reason anymore not to buy the little Raspberry Pi 3 … or is there?!

With this low price the Raspberry Pi 3 of course receives our OCinside.de Price Tip Award.
