++++ The ASRock X399M Taichi/A/ASRK motherboard is available for approx. 350 Euro (05/2018) and is thus in the middle price segment of the AMD TR4 motherboards.

The ASRock X399M Taichi AMD TR4 DDR4 Micro ATX motherboard hardly differs from the features of adult ATX motherboards, even achieves almost identical OC results and is therefore currently without competition on the market for high-end AMD Ryzen Threadripper Micro ATX PCs!

The X399M Taichi motherboard offers a total of three PCI Express slots, eight SATA3 ports, three fast Ultra M.2 32Gb/s slots, one U.2 32Gb/s port, one USB 3.1 Type C, one USB 3.1 Type A, up to twelve possible USB 3.1 Gen1 ports (USB 3.0), up to four possible USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, 7.1 Purity 4 sound with content protection, analog sound output via five jacks, digital sound output via optical S/PDIF, four DDR4 slots, ASRock A-Tuning software for easy Ryzen Threadripper overclocking and fan control in Windows, ASRock RGB LED lighting, ASRock BIOS Flashback function for BIOS update without CPU and much more.

All in all, the new ASRock X399M Taichi motherboard offers a fantastic basic configuration with extensive OC options for building a current high-end AMD Ryzen Threadripper PC system in Micro ATX format – we are excited!
