The Philips 34B2U3600C fully meets expectations for its price range. It offers a practical KVM switch and MultiView for office use, especially since its low viewing angle dependency has been confirmed. The variety of connections and thus flexibility in application is impressive. For the highest possible refresh rate, it is best to use the DisplayPort or USB-C DP.
Even for “non-related” applications such as gaming, the model is fast, colorful, and only slightly demanding on the hardware due to its high native resolution. The curved design remains a matter of personal taste and is therefore neither positive nor negative. However, it is pleasing that this shape does not appear to cause any problems in terms of transport and packaging.
One purely aesthetic criticism could be the wider frame at the bottom of the display. This stands out clearly, while the other edges have been designed to be pleasantly unobtrusive.
Despite its heavy weight, the 34″ model appears stable and is easy to handle during installation.
