LAN Area at DreamHack 2019 …
Let’s start the report with the spectacular LAN, which is getting bigger and bigger and is a real Mecca of the gambling community. As soon as you enter hall 5, you become aware of the extent of the LAN. Because apart from the necessary escape routes, which needs such an event, everything is full of tables, PCs and camp beds. You could book for the LAN 3 different tickets: 1.LAN Seat 109,- Euro 2.LAN Seat + 139,- Euro 3.XMG LAN Seat 329,- Euro.
As you can easily see from the prices, the services that you get with the purchase of the tickets are very different. Therefore you find here once the ticket packages broken down.

But now for the USK 18 LAN itself. Especially nice to see is the dedication with which the participants design their seats. In our opinion, two main features are given special consideration: functionality and style. As we were able to find out in discussions with LAN participants, there is probably even lively exchange on the Discord server of DreamHack Leipzig, where ideas are shared and even instructions for space-saving table racks are exchanged. Pictures from the hall and to the many different designs of the places can be found below in the gallery. To keep the participants happy, there were also tournaments in Counter Strike Go, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Overwatch, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and even at the Kicker table where you could measure yourself and win prizes. Also for the physical well the participants was taken care of, since not only on-site food was to be obtained, but you could also take food from the outside in or use the provided “mini ovens” for preparing pizza or something similar.
