With the ASRock Radeon RX 5500 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC ASRock offers a solid graphics card in the entry level class. The graphics card convinces with great features like 0 db Silent Cooling as well as stylish RGB lighting and noble backplate. Features like a DualBIOS are not to be found. Since the graphics card is not very highly overclockable, you can get over it.
Even under full load the AMD RX 5500XT graphics card remains relatively quiet and cool, here ASRock did a good job!
Thanks to the altogether three Displayport connections and one HDMI connection, one can connect several monitors without much effort.
The Radeon RX 5500XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC provides pleasant, smooth frame rates in high to very high details in FullHD, but in our opinion it is less suitable for WQHD, where 8 GB graphics memory unfortunately doesn’t help either. For WQHD or higher, we recommend the recently reviewed ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi X 8G OC+ graphics card.
The RX 5500XT is certainly not a bargain in terms of price, but also not overpriced due to its features.
All in all, the ASRock Radeon RX 5500 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC graphics card is definitely recommendable and thus receives our OCinside.de Purchase Tip Award 05/2020.
