Form factor: The CM Storm Scout 2 Mid Tower is designed for ATX and Micro ATX motherboards.

Dimensions: The overall height is 505 mm, the width is 225 mm and the depth is 520 mm.

Weight and material: The CM Storm Scout 2 case is made of black coated steel with a mesh front. Its basic weight is approximately 8.4 kg and its shipping weight including the cardboard box is approx. 10.1 kg.

Drive bays: Overall there are 3x 5.25-inch front drive bays. Additionally there are 7x 3.5″ internal drive bays for hard disks available inside of the CM Storm Scout 2, which can be mounted without screws using the sliding rails. One 3.5″ drive bay has a pre-installed 3.5″ to 2.5″ mounting frame, which can be equipped with up to two 2.5″ or 1.8″ SSDs or HDDs.

Slots: It’s possible to mount up to 7 expansion cards.

Cooling: The CM Storm Scout 2 case is equipped with one red lighted 120mm LED fan at the rear and can be equipped with additional fans. Optional it’s possible to mount another 120 mm fan at the case bottom, 2x 120 mm (or 1x 140 mm) fans in the front, 2x 120 mm fans at the case top and up to 2x 120 mm fans in the side panel.

Miscellaneous: On the top front of the case are below a slider 2x USB 2.0 connectors for internal connection, 2x USB 3.0 ports for internal connection, 2x 3.5mm jacks for a headset, a power button, reset button, light button, HDD LED and a Power LED.
