Setup and test results …
For pure benchmarking, the fans were controlled via the controller when they were removed. The volume was always measured from a constant distance of 100cm using a highly sensitive Shure SM57 Dynamic instrument microphone and a db meter.

The Arctic BioniX P fans are pleasantly quiet, especially in view of the relatively high speeds up to approx. 2000 rpm. Up to a speed of approx. 1300 rpm at 60% PWM they are hardly audible and even at approx. 25 dB at full speed they are whisper quiet.
The fans actually show a very low vibration operation. Even when we placed them on a resonance body, only a very quiet hum could be perceived. Arctic didn’t promise too much here.
