The revised Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo V2 tower cooler delivers surprisingly good cooling results at an affordable price!
The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo V2 has been revised mainly in the bracket, but also in its fan compared to its predecessor. With the 2nd revision, Cooler Master once again shows how creatively the team approaches the problem of making their coolers as compatible as possible while still providing a safe as well as simple solution. The solution with the threaded pins and the caps is a completely new concept that should be quickly understood by any system builder and thanks to variable adaptability remains compatible with old and new sockets of both CPU companies. Cooler Master puts a lot of emphasis on the details.
All in all, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo V2 is exemplary packaged, very compatible, fairly quick installed, achieves excellent cooling performance for its size, remains pleasantly quiet, and is available at a reasonable price!
Tip: In the interactive Fit for Fan guide, you can virtually fit the CPU coolers onto different motherboards and listen to many – the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, Cooler Master Hyper 212X and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus are already included and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo V2 will be included in the next update.
For a comparison with other coolers, take a look at our CPU cooler chart 2018 on the Intel Core i5 PC and the CPU cooler chart 2018, tested on an AMD AM4 PC system. Here is also the CPU cooler chart 2016 on the Intel Core i5 PC and the CPU-cooler comparison 2016, tested on an Intel Core i7 PC. And here is the previous CPU cooler chart with CPU cooler before 2016. A direct comparison to our previously tested coolers is however not possible here, since the test system has changed fundamentally in the meantime.
