ASRock X299 Creator Motherboard Review

Today we test the ASRock X299 Creator High-End motherboard on OCinside.de. The latest X299 Creator motherboard supports Skylake-X and Skylake-X Refresh, as well as the current Cascade Lake-X processor series. ASRock has raised the bar even higher with their new Creator series and impressed us with a phenomenal basic equipment. From 10 Gigabit LAN up to Mini DisplayPort inputs, everything is included!

The ASRock X299 Creator motherboard box looks very similar to the color of the ASRock X570 Extreme4 series, but has been provided with Creator elements.

The back of the box shows some of the many features, such as Triple Ultra M.2 slots with heat sinks, Thunderbolt 3 ports, Digi Power Phase and most importantly, Aquantia 10Gb/s network interface.

After removing the box and opening the lid, we take a look at the contents.

Therein you will find the complete accessories. Included is a manual, a software setup guide, a DVD, four SATA data cables (angled and straight), three screws for the M.2 sockets, three distance screws for the M.2 sockets, ASRock SLI_HB_Bridge_2S Card, one ASRock WiFi 2.4/5 GHz antenna and the ATX I/O panel. Further USB slot panels or an ASRock USB 3.0 front panel are optionally available.

As with most high-quality ASRock motherboards, the X299 Creator is also encased in foam for safe transport.
